Pertussis Requirement

Students entering 7th grade in 2014 - 2015 will need proof of a pertussis booster shot (whooping cough, called Tdap on or after their 7th birthday BEFORE starting school. Please check your Childs immunization records and if he/she has had one, bring proof to your school immediately. If he/she has not received one, make an appointment today and bring proof to the school as soon as your child receives it.

Your child will not be allowed to start school in August without proof of a Tdap given after the 7th birthday.

Sports Dates --General

Sports Timeline is the official day a sport can start tryouts (per league bylaws)- actual day is determined by coach.
Cross Country-->  August 25 - October 16
Wrestling --> October 6 - December 11
Girls Basketball --> October 6 - December 11
Boys basketball --> December 1 - February 12
Soccer--> February 2 - April 7
Volleyball--> February 2 - April 7
Track and Field --> March 30 - May 21

Hey BRUINS!!! CJSF is proudly sponsoring this year's RED RIBBON WEEK to encourage you to say NO TO DRUGS!


Monday will be 'SHADE OUT DRUGS"  and we will all wear SUNGLASSES to mark the day.

Tuesday will be 'SOCK IT TO DRUGS' day.....wear your CRAZIEST SOCKS to show your support.

Wednesday will be PUT A CAP ON can wear a hat or a cap....make sure your cap or hat is not related to something we cannot do here on campus....and no Marley hats either.

Thursday is LIVE YOUR DREAMS DAY....dress as your favorite Disney character OR SuperHero.....AND it is Breast Cancer Awareness Day---so extra points will be given for incorporating PINK in your costume.  Remember no masks or face creative!


Prizes will be determined by FIRST PERIOD CLASS.  Be sure to have your teacher count participants every morning with announcements.  A special shout-out to our teachers for helping us out with this!
